Our Village
Cleeve Prior is a village of some 500 inhabitants in Worcestershire on the Warwickshire border. The Parish is bounded on the West by the River Avon that flows through the Vale of Evesham to join the River Severn at Tewkesbury.The Main Street of the village is the B4085 running from the ancient bridge crossing the River Avon at Bidford-on-Avon through the Littletons to Badsey and on into Evesham.
There are 43 listed buildings in the village including St. Andrews Church that dates from the 12th century and houses dating from the 16th century, many built in the local blue lias stone. The local pub, the Kings Arms, serves a good range beers and has a first class restaurant.
